AGC Charities Where Needed
AGC Charities, Inc. was established in 2008 as a charitable organization to carry out the charitable activities of The Associated General Contractors of America and operates exclusively for charitable, scientific and educational purposes. AGC Charities promotes and supports the national charitable initiative Operation Opening Doors, a program designed to provide home remodeling services to soldiers and veterans who have suffered disabling wounds while serving in the US Armed Forces. Also, the charitable group provides assistance to construction craft workers or other construction professionals who fall victim to natural or other catastrophes, and to the families of such professionals is also an important duty to AGC Charities. Recent examples of such catastrophes include Hurricane Harvey and Maria.
